This time Missie's pregnancy and birth were not straight forward and she has only produce one kitten.
However mother and baby have settled down and both are doing well.

Tessie's first litter was born 10th January 2008
by  Ch Wellbrand Haymaker (Orlando)

The kittens were born in the evening and although Tessie settled very quickly with her kittens I realised she had retained a placentre.
So for a week she was on antibiotics until the slight infection caused by the retention had cleared up.
All the kittens continued to grow and developed despite this and Tessie has proved to be a super mum

The kittens are 1 female and 5 males
all the kittens being lilac silver shaded
as both parents are lilac silver shaded and tipped

The Kittens were born from 8o/c in the morning and as there are only two kittens
mother and babies were soon settled and getting to know each other.

Both kittens are females,
one looks as though she is a Brown Silver Shaded
and the other may be a Blue Silver Shaded
