GCCF National Cat Club
Championship Show
11th December 2010
Although only 5 months old Dusty took the whole day in her stride.
She responded to the large number people who passed her pen and was not at all shy,
And she was very much admired by the many visitors who came over especially to see her.
The judge placed her first and gave her Best of Breed which completed our day.
(being a kitten under 9 month old she was too young to compete for a CC)

GCCF East Sussex Cat Club
Championship Show
9th April 2011
This was Dusty’s first Adult show and she was very much at home and was still responding to the large number people who passed her pen although now being an old hand at this showing lark she was very relaxed and did take time off to have a snooze
The judge placed her first in her open class and awarded her first CC
(Challenge Certificate )

Dusty will not be going to any shows for a while as she will be going to stud in the near future

Daylight Fairydust
‘Dusty’
GCCF The London Cat Club
Championship Show
11th June 2011
Dusty had another very good show, although she looks very relaxed here she spent a lot of her time talking to people who came to see and admire her and generally playing to her public.
She won her class but this time the CC was with held

Daylight Fairydust was bred by Helen Barnes.
I had been looking for a ‘Burmilla smoke’ for some time to try an establish the smoke as the third variety of Burmilla after the shaded and tipped. When I found out the my friend Helen Barnes had a female black smoke kitten from her queen Wellbrand June Sparkle. I was thrilled and contacted her straight away.
It was love at first sight, especially as she is full expression black. I took my youngest granddaughter with me to collect her at 14 weeks, and they became buddies in a matter of minutes.
She is already exhibiting the kind of temperament I look for in a breeding queen. She is out going andf full of energy and purrrrrs!! are never far away. She has very quickly found her place with the other older cats.
I shall be breeding from her in due course, using Burmilla studs in order to establish the ‘third Burmilla’ In the mean time I intend to show her with both the FIFe and the GCCF.
We will be at the Bristol and District Cat Club Show on 7th May 2011, at Thornbury Leisure Centre and if you are going to be at the show do look us up
